A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IMPERIAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, CONTINUING THE PROCLAMATION OF A STATE OF AN ONGOING LOCAL EMERGENCY RELATED TO COVID-19. (0210-25)

• Recommendation:

  Approve Resolution No. 2022-107.

RATIFICATION OF WARRANT REGISTER FOR THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 4, 2022 TO NOVEMBER 24, 2022. (0300-25)

• Recommendation:

  Staff is requesting that the City Council ratify and file the Warrant Register Report.

RESOLUTION 2022-108 CONTINUING THE PROCLAMATION OF A STATE OF LOCAL EMERGENCY RELATING TO IMPACTS FROM CROSS-BORDER POLLUTION IN THE TIJUANA RIVER. (0150-40 & 0210-26)

• Recommendation:

  Adopt Resolution No. 2022-108 to maintain a state of local emergency related to the cross-border pollution impacts from the Tijuana River and authorize the City Manager, Mayor, and Council members to work with local, State, Federal, and Mexican authorities to advance binational projects to improve conditions in the Tijuana River.

NOTIFICATION OF TRAVEL: COUNCILMEMBER AGUIRRE ATTENDED THE CALIFORNIA WORKING FAMILIES (CWF) SUMMIT IN SAN FRANCISCO ON NOVEMBER 17 -18, 2022. (0410-60)*

CWF will reimburse any costs that may be incurred during the trip, there is no cost to the City.

RESOLUTION NO. 2022-109 CHANGING THE START TIME FOR THE DECEMBER 14, 2022 REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING TO 6:00 P.M. AND ADJOURNING THE REGULAR MEETING OF DECEMBER 7, 2022 TO DECEMBER 14, 2022. (0410-95)

• Recommendation:

  Adopt Resolution No. 2022-109 setting the start time of the regular City Council meeting of December 14, 2022, to be held at Novo Brazil, located at 535 Florence Street, Imperial Beach, for 6:00 p.m. and confirming the adjournment of the December 7, 2022 regular meeting to December 14, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
