Copies of the written comments received by noon on the day of the City Council meeting will be provided to the City Council and be made available to the public at the City Council meeting. They will be part of the official record of the meeting, but they will not be read aloud at the meeting.

• Recommendation:

  Staff recommends that the City Council receive and file the October 2022 Treasurer's Report.

RATIFICATION OF WARRANT REGISTER FOR THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 25, 2022 TO DECEMBER 1, 2022. (0300-25)

• Recommendation:

  Staff is requesting that the City Council ratify and file the Warrant Register Report.

RESOLUTION NO. 2022-111 APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE SIDELETTER OF AGREEMENT TO THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY AND SERVICE EMPLOYEES’ INTERNATIONAL UNION, LOCAL 221, AND THE IMPERIAL BEACH FIREFIGHTERS’ ASSOCIATION, LOCAL 4692. (0540-50)

• Recommendation:

  Staff is recommending that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2022-111 increasing the employee health allotment from $1,900 to $1,966.15 per month.

CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION NO. 2022-110 – RECITING THE FACT OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 8, 2022, DECLARING THE RESULT AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS PROVIDED BY LAW. (0430-40)

• Recommendation:

  Staff recommends the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2022-110 declaring the results of the November 8, 2022 Election.

SECOND READING/ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 2022-1216 ADOPTED BY THE VOTERS AT THE NOVEMBER 8, 2022 ELECTION TO APPROVE AN INCREASE IN THE TRANSIENT OCCUPANCY TAX. (0430-95)

• Recommendation:

  Staff recommends that the City Council conducts the second reading/adoption of Ordinance No. 2022-1216 pursuant to the City Council's previous action to approve a resolution which certified and declared the results of the voters of Imperial Beach at the November 8, 2022 election.
